Traulsen’s Banquet and Transport Carts help foodservice professionals maintain food’s holding temperature as well as its quality and appeal while transferring plated or panned meals from central kitchens or commissaries to satellite feeding locations. Traulsen’s banquet carts are designed to hold and transport plated foods from the kitchen to the point of use, such as hotel banquet halls. The banquet carts offer ample space to house multiple serving/holding applications, accommodating 90, 96 or 150 covered plates.

The transport carts are designed to hold and transport food in pans from a central kitchen to another point of use. These are often used at healthcare facilities, schools and universities where food is prepared at a central production kitchen or commissary then delivered to satellite feeding locations. Traulsen’s transport carts are equipped with universal tray slides to accommodate 12-inch by 20-inch sheet pans or 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans. Models are available with capacities from seven to 30 sheet pans measuring 18 inches by 26 inches.

Keeping food above the Danger Zone is critical during transit, in order to significantly reduce the chance for bacteria growth and lower the risk of an outbreak of a food-borne illness.

All Traulsen carts are ENERGY STAR® qualified, saving your customers money while helping save the environment. Some models are equipped with forced-air bottom-heating units to warm meals and are ideally suited for foodservice applications where air movement is desired. These forced-air banquet and transport carts utilize a fan mounted on top of the unit with a 4-inch-wide channel on the interior wall to circulate air throughout the unit.
