Our leadership in the development of energy-saving equipment and the sharing of sustainable ideas throughout the foodservice industry has been recently affirmed by the selection of our parent organization, ITW Food Equipment Group, as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year since 2008, and awarded with the a 2010 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence award.
A goal is only as good as the people behind it.
That’s why we’ve challenged every level of our company, at every facility, to drive sustainable design from the inside out. We work with our vendors, we work with our customers and most importantly, we work with each other to continually assess every step of the manufacturing process—from product research to a product’s entire life cycle.
At Hobart, we have formed a sustainable design site to help you learn more about the standards—ENERGY STAR and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC)—behind sustainability, cost-saving equipment and Farm-to-Fork foods, all of which aid the environment.
