Hobart Food Machines Earn ‘Best in Class’ Award

TROY, Ohio – October 24, 2013 – Hobart recently received the top ranking in the floor mixer and electric slicer categories of the 2013 Foodservice Equipment and Supplies survey of foodservice consultants, dealers and operators.

In addition to recognizing Hobart as “Best in Class” in the two overall floor mixer and electric slicer categories, the magazine reported results from the individual audience groups that contributed to the survey. All three groups—dealers, operators and consultants—each voted Hobart floor mixers and electric slicers as “Best in Class” for their own categories.

Foodservice Equipment and Supplies partnered with an international research firm to survey its subscribing dealers, operators and consultants. The survey results determined the winners in various industry categories, based on seven key criteria:

• Product quality
• Product value
• Product design and aesthetics
• Service and support
• Sales representation
• Product inventory and availability
• Availability of product information
